From The Campground

Lakes Basin Campground is located in the Lakes Basin Recreation Area, nine miles southwest of Graeagle, California. The campground offers breathtaking scenery and access to over 20 small lakes nearby, most of which are accessible by hiking trails. The campground has 22 campsites, some of which are suited for RV camping. There are also four accessible sites with nearby accessible toilet facilities. Potable water is available, but seasonal. The campground has picnic tables, toilets, and parking. Visitors should store food, trash, and scented items appropriately to be bear aware. The campground is open in the summer and has a 14-day camping limit. Reservations can be made up to six months in advance and must be made at least three days in advance. Senior and Access passes are honored for single campsites only.
