Granite Bay and Beal's Point are two locations on Folsom Lake that offer a variety of recreational activities. Granite Bay has a sandy beach, buoyed swim area, lifeguard services, barbecue pits, shade areas, and large grassy areas for picnics and other activities. The snack bar at Granite Bay rents beach equipment and offers catering for family and company picnics. Beal's Point allows overnight camping in the campground and has barbecue pits, shade areas, and large grassy areas for picnics and other activities. Beal's Point also offers access to the American River bicycle trail and rents beach equipment through their snack bar. Group discount rental rates are available at both snack bars.
