Due to the natural dirt environment of the campground, sites vary in how level they are, so it is advised to bring extra water hoses and electric cables. There is no Verizon signal, but WiFi is available to purchase for a fee. The park is open from May 1 through mid-September and they accept reservations a year in advance.

From The Campground

Gualala River Redwood Park offers over 120 campsites in the redwoods, on the river, and by the sea. All sites include electricity and water, picnic table and fire ring, and 30 sites have a river view. The campground has a children's playground, convenience store, and offers wifi for purchase. Visitors can enjoy stargazing, hiking, playing on the beach, and kayaking on the river. The staff is friendly and helpful, and there are no bad sites at the campground.
