From The Campground

Austin Creek State Recreation Area is a beautiful campground located seven miles north of Guerneville, California. The campground offers day use and overnight camping options, with Bullfrog Pond Campground being the only option for overnight camping. Dogs are allowed in paid campsites and picnic areas, but must remain leashed at all times. Bicycles are allowed on paved roads and fire roads, but not on any trails. The campground is closed during periods of extreme fire danger. Visitors are advised to carry plenty of water, wear layered clothing, have a map, carry a flashlight, and have a fully charged cell phone. The campground is a proud partner of Save the Redwoods League, which has helped permanently protect more than 150,000 acres in 37 of California State Parks redwood parks.
