Camerons Campground is a great place to stay for a month or more if you need to work in the San Francisco Bay Area. It is a small, but accessible campground with good hookups, picnic tables, fire pits, BBQs, and plastic chairs at each site. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the manager goes out of her way to make sure all her guests are happy. The campground is close to many beaches and trails, and is also next door to Camerons Pub, a fun place to eat with a dog-friendly patio. The sites are on rock, and the sewer hook up is 30 feet from the average RV outlet. There is a pet park and spots to play for dogs, but there is also a lot of trash, broken glass, and dog poop. The showers and bathrooms are individual units with toilets, showers, sinks, hooks for clothes and towels, and a small table. The campground is pricey, but it is a great location on Route 1, 40 minutes from San Francisco, and close to the beach and hiking trails.
