Overall, the staff was friendly and welcoming upon arrival, making check-in an effortless process. The facilities were clean, including the laundry and bathrooms. The park offers a varied selection of activities, including surfing, biking, walking trails and kayaking. While the sites are tightly spaced with very little privacy, some sites offer a distant view of the ocean or golf course, which is pleasant. However, the sewer hook-ups in the park create a close and awkward situation with your neighbors, which may make some people uncomfortable. Lattice barriers around the sewer hookup would be a great improvement. Additionally, the cleanliness of the site could be improved.
From The Campground
Pelican Point RV Park is a year-round campground located just a 5-minute walk from the beach. Each site is back-in only and includes cable TV, water, sewer, and electricity. The campground offers a laundry room, showers/restrooms, a dog area, horseshoe pits, giant Jenga, corn hole, fire pit and BBQ grill rentals, and firewood bundles. Propane sales are available on-site, and WIFI is available for a nominal fee. The convenience store is open from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Pets are welcome for an additional fee, and dry camp sites are available at a lower rate. Reservations are required and can be made by phone.
