Golden Village Palms RV Resort in Hemet, CA is a great place to stay for those who enjoy pickleball as there are 10 courts available. While the resort has some permanent residents, we met many seasonal residents who were all friendly and welcoming. Activities at the resort were plentiful, with something offered almost every day, such as special events and weekly activities. The resort is gated and seemed safe. There are three heated pools and three hot tubs, as well as a nice billiards room and an indoor shuffleboard area. The perimeter road around the park is over one mile and is great for walking with many citrus trees available for picking. There are also two dog parks available for off-leash time. Despite the parks surroundings not having a great reputation, we enjoyed our stay here as the resort atmosphere was lively, and we made long-term friendships with like-minded people. The nightly rate includes the monthly electric bill. The location is great as there are many nearby shopping options. During our stay, we also took some time to explore nearby attractions such as Old Town Temecula, Temecula wineries, Idyllwild, Palm Springs, and San Diego. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Golden Village Palms RV Resort and can see why so many winter here year after year.
