This campground is a great place for a quick getaway from the city. It is gated and has showers and bathrooms for convenience. You can purchase a daily fishing pass to enjoy the lake, although the water can sometimes be a bit dirty. There is a small park for kids and occasional events, although the campground is not very quiet. The sites have both water and electric hookups, but no view. The campground is fairly clean and there is nice shade on half of the sites. There is no dump station, however, so that is something to consider. The lake is fenced off and access to the park closes in the evening. If you like birds, there are plenty! Overall, this is a good place for an overnight or two if youre in the area.

From The Campground

Hesperia Lake Park is a pay-to-fish lake that offers fishing, picnicking, equestrian camping, and soccer fields. The park is open all year and offers individual picnic tables throughout the park. Group sites are available for a reasonable fee and reservations must be made in advance. Hesperia Lake Equestrian Camp is available on a first-come-first-served basis. The park also has a community center available for rental.
