What others are saying about this campground
Bolsa Chica State Beach in Huntington Beach, CA is a great place to enjoy outdoor activities like biking and walking on the beach. While there may be some noise from nearby Highway 1, the campground is close to amenities like restaurants and shops within a 10-mile radius. The asphalt campsites have 50 & 30 amp service, and there is easy access to the beach. Some campers reported issues with noise from the road, so it may be best to choose a site that is not adjacent to the highway. The bathrooms may not be as clean as some may expect and there are no grass or shaded areas. It can be windy at times, so cooking may be difficult. While there is no sewer hook-up, there are rules about water leaks and AC run-off, so be aware. It is recommended to keep valuables locked up, as there have been reports of theft. Overall, Bolsa Chica State Beach is a great spot for campers who are interested in enjoying outdoor activities and the beach.
