We were able to build a bonfire in the fire pits provided. There were some homeless people around but they were not a problem. Sunset Vista is a great campground for beach lovers who want to be close to the action. With beachfront views, clean facilities, and fire pits, its the perfect spot to enjoy the beach and all the nearby restaurants and shopping. The campground is only open from October to May, and can get a bit rowdy at night depending on your neighbors, but its a great place to stay when visiting Los Angeles or Orange County. Car rentals are nearby, and you can even do your laundry there.
