What others are saying about this campground
Pio Pico RV Resort & Campground is a peaceful park located in Jamul, CA. The campground, while older, is on a beautiful piece of land. Although some amenities could use an update, the resort is still enjoyable for those who want a quiet retreat. The restrooms are cold, have slow-to-heat water, and no patio areas. The South side of the park has mostly full-time leased sites and a first-come-first-served policy for available open sites. In contrast, the North side has water and electric hookups only, which includes a dump station or honey bucket as needed. It may take up to 40 minutes to reach San Diego due to traffic. The resort offers swimming pools, spas, playgrounds for kids, and a pet area. There is limited cell signal, however, wifi is a purchase option. The OTA TV options are okay. A creek runs through the South side, and it was flooded at times. The campsite rangers and staff are pleasant and helpful. Despite some minor issues, Pio Pico RV Resort & Campground is a great place to stay at the right price.
