Ocean Cove is a private campground located off Highway One. It is a great spot for a family camping trip or just a quick overnight stay. The campground offers a variety of amenities, including port-a-potties, coin-operated showers, boat launch, fish cleaning station, and potable water. The campsites are grassy and many of them have ocean views. There is a nice trail that goes along the sea cliffs, and a private beach/boat ramp. Campsites are far enough apart with picnic tables and fire rings, and some of them are tucked away in little nooks and crannies for privacy. The owners are friendly and helpful, and they also own the grocery store across from the campsites. Prices are reasonable, with tent sites costing $24-$35 per night depending on payment method. There are no hookups, but the views and location make up for it. Verizon cell service is now available throughout the park, and there is a small hike past the fenced area of Stillwater Cove Park for WiFi. The campground is also close to the state park and trails along the bluffs. It is a great spot for fishing, diving, and exploring the sunsets.

From The Campground

Ocean Cove is a small island of private land surrounded by state and county parks. The Ocean Cove Store and Campground offers camping on the bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean and boat access to the sheltered cove. RVs, tent campers, and day use visitors are all usually welcome from April 1 through November 30. This Year Only: The campground will be closed from Friday, September 8, through Sunday, September 10, 2023, Closed for a private event. Stay Safe!
