Agua Caliente is a beautiful campground located in the middle of the Anza Borrego Desert. It features stunning views of the desert, two outdoor pools heated by natural hot springs, an indoor adult spa, RV sites with power, water and sewer, and tent sites. There is also a small camp store right outside the park, perfect for stocking up on snacks, beer, smores fixings, geodes and crystals. There are plenty of short, challenging hikes with gorgeous views, and you can even spot some big horn sheep atop a ridge at sunrise. Careful if you bring dogs, as its the desert and lots of cactus! Coin operated showers are available, and the hot springs pool is great and has adult-only hours at night. There is also an army airbase nearby, so you may see some helicopters flying overhead. The park is closed during summer months, and it can get a little noisy if a motorcycle gang comes around. But overall, its a great place for camping, hiking and relaxing in the hot springs.
