The campground is large with lots of spaces in varying sizes, RVs on site if you dont bring your own, and small cabins available. Located near the historic town of Julian, this campground offers a piece of history and lots of activities. It has full hookups, lots of amenities for outdoor activities, and incredibly nice staff. It has a clubhouse with fireplaces, a heated pool, and a house dedicated as kids club with an arcade. There are tennis courts, shuffleboard, horseshoes, and a huge play area with swings. It also offers breakfast and dinner at a reasonable cost, and gas prices in this remote area are very high. The roads are curvy mountain snake trails for miles, and there is little to no lighting on the property at night.

KQ Ranch Resort is a secluded 5-star RV and camping resort located just 40 miles east of San Diego in Julian, California. The resort offers 200 campsites, most of which are full hook-up, as well as cabins and sites adjacent to corrals for equestrian enthusiasts. The clubhouse hosts scheduled activities, movies, steak dinners, and games around two large fireplaces, creating a perfect blend of comfort and rustic charm. The resort also features a heated swimming pool, oversized Jacuzzi, miniature golf course, playground, kid’s club, live music in the summer, and a stocked fishing lake. Other amenities include clean bathrooms and showers, year-round trailer storage, horseshoe pits, volleyball, tennis and basketball courts, laundry facilities, and a fully stocked Country Store.
