Pinezanita is a great campground located in the pines just 4 miles from Julian. The park is well maintained and clean, with plenty of mature trees providing shade and a peaceful environment. The sites are of great size, with electric and water hook-ups, and some with sewer hook-ups. The oversize sites are hard packed gravel, shaded, level and easy to maneuver into with clean water, good pressure, electrical pedestals in good condition and plenty of room between you and your neighbor. The campground also offers a camp store with WiFi internet, movie rentals, laundry, books, and a nice stock of supplies. There is a large fishing pond, but it is currently closed for renovation. The park is pet friendly, with plenty of room to walk and a large grassy park near the top for your furry friends to enjoy. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the park offers plenty of activities for kids, including biking and skateboarding down the steep inclines. Pinezanita is the perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

The Fireplace Cottage and Knotty Pine Cottage are nestled beneath huge pine trees and assorted oaks, while the Mountainside Retreat provides a secluded country vacation. The campground also features a fishing pond and is surrounded by lush green sloping lawns and massive shade trees.
