From The Campground

Chico Flat Dispersed Camping is a rustic camping area located along the Wild and Scenic Kern River in Sequoia National Forest. The campground is open year-round and offers free camping on a first-come, first-served basis. Campfires, barbeques, and camp stoves are allowed with a valid Campfire Permit. Portable toilets and trash receptacles are available during summer months. Fishing, hiking, and white water rafting are popular activities in the area.
