From The Campground

Corral Creek Dispersed Camping is a free of charge camping and day use site located along the North Fork of the Kern River in Sequoia National Forest. The site offers portable toilets and trash bins during summer months, but no water is available. A small, short trail leads to Corral Creek Picnic Area, which is a small beach along the Kern River. Camping, dogs, vehicles, and campfires are not allowed on the beach. Campfires, barbeques, and camp stoves are allowed with a current California Campfire Permit. Glass containers are prohibited. The site is open year-round and is medium-heavy usage, with the busiest season being summer. The closest towns are Kernville and Riverkern.
