What others are saying about this campground
San Lorenzo County Park is a beautiful out-of-the-way park halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco. It offers 25 campsites with full hookups, lots of trees for shade, and a putting green, horseshoe pit, and water feature. The park also features an interactive trail, a tribute to veterans, a full kitchen and rec room, and a museum with displays of old-time farm and irrigation equipment, a caboose, and a schoolhouse from the 1880s. There is no Wi-Fi or cable, but Verizon cell phone and data packages work well. The park is self-serve and accepts Visa. It is a bit pricey at $38-40 per night, but it is a great place to stop for a night or two. The park is also pet-friendly and has plenty of space for day users. The surrounding park has trails, farm and mining machinery exhibits, and a couple of museums. It is a great place to spend some time and explore the history of the area.
