GenieSummary

Lindys Campground is located 80 miles from Yosemite Village and off of Highway 99. The campground is situated next to the King River, which was dry at the time of our visit. There is a large grassy area with a playground, a fishing pond, and plenty of room for kids to run and play. The sites are on grass and quite close together, so there is not enough room to open your awning fully. The facilities are older and look a bit weary, but the registration and check-in process was great, and the bathrooms and laundry were clean. The pull-through sites have full hookups, and there is WiFi available for an additional fee. The Smokehouse Bar and Grill has great food but terrible service. The owners try to make the campground look nice, but the droughts make it difficult. The hot tub is lukewarm and the knob for the jets is broken and rusted shut. The park is noisy due to the freeway and train tracks, and there is no security or enforcement of the pet leash rule. The sites are not very level and are gravel, and there is no hot water in the showers. The prices are ok given the lack of good RV parks in the area, but be aware that there are extra charges for electricity and WiFi.
