What others are saying about this campground
This family-owned and operated campground is located right off Highway 99 just north of Kingsburg, CA. It has a lot of seasonal campers, but also 6 spots for overnighters on a first come, first served basis. Seniors and active duty military pay $22, and those with Club Rate (AAA, Enjoy America, Passport America, and SKP) pay $20. The sites are grass/dirt and somewhat uneven, with several having large shade trees. There is one sink, single toilet, and pay shower. The park is conveniently located next to the freeway, but this also makes for road noise when trying to sleep with your windows open. There is a train whistle in the middle of the night that can be heard, and the closest place to eat is 1.2 miles away. The park is not suitable for big rigs due to the uneven ground and tight spaces. It is an inexpensive place to park overnight, but there are limited amenities and noise from the highway and train tracks.
