This campground is a great base for exploring the Redwood Groves, hiking trails, and Crescent City. It is clean and well maintained with secluded tent and RV (back-in) sites nestled in the tall trees, as well as many sunny or partly shaded pull-thru sites. All sites are FHU with picnic tables and fire pits. The owners are very helpful and can provide maps and suggestions for places of interest in the area. The biggest downside is the ambiance of old mobile homes and other vehicles around the perimeter of the park.
