From The Campground
Chilao Campground is a beautiful campground located in Angeles National Forest. The campground offers 84 campsites spread out over 2 loops, Little Pines and Manzanita, with picnic tables, vault toilets, piped water, and dumpsters. The maximum RV length is 18' with no hookups. The campground sits at an elevation of 5,300 feet, giving campers majestic panoramas of nearby Vetter Lookout and Big Tujunga Canyon. Access to the Silver Moccasin Trail is available for hiking enthusiasts. Wildlife is very active in this area and campers should ensure they secure their food when site is unattended.
