This campground is the perfect spot for a stopover on a long trip. It is well-maintained and the helpful and courteous owner, Jonathan, is always on hand to help with any queries. The spaces are clean and shaded, with new picnic tables and BBQs. The park is quiet and set back from the street, and there is a large grass area for the kids to play. There are also horseshoes and doggy stations. The campground is close to hiking trails, a lake, and hot springs, and there is a nice drive to Big Sequoia trees. The night sky is clear and beautiful, perfect for stargazing. The driveway is a little rough, but the owner is always willing to help with maneuvering. There is extra parking by the grass area.
