This campground is located near Lake Isabella and offers amazing views of the lake. It is an old and poorly maintained park, but it is clean and the locals are friendly and helpful. There are no electric, water, or sewer hookups, and the price is too high for what you get. The sites are close, have picnic tables, cement patio slabs, and are sandy gravel. The electric hookup in some sites is down a slight incline and under a box. There is supposedly Wi-Fi, but you have to bring your laptop down to the office to get it. There is no water in the lake, so boating and swimming are not possible. This campground is best used as an overnight stop, but it is not a resort.

From The Campground

Lake Isabella RV Resort is a picturesque 9-mile long lake located in the southern Sierra Nevada Mountain Range in central California. The resort is surrounded by the spectacular Sequoia National Forest in beautiful, scenic Kern River Valley, just two and a half hours north of Los Angeles. The resort offers full RV hookups, Wi-Fi, a swimming pool, a club house with pool table and kitchen, his/her restrooms and showers, stone BBQ pits in each space, on-site staff available 24 hours a day, and a free boat ramp (concrete) within 300 yards. Supermarket, minimart, ATM, gas and propane, full-service boat marina with watercraft rentals (2 miles), bowling alley and video arcade, auto supply and hardware store, and hospital are all nearby. The resort has received positive reviews from customers.
