Lower Nye Campground is a dispersed camping area located in Mendocino National Forest. It is not accessible when the creek is too high to ford and has no tables, fire rings, or services. The campground is closed due to safety hazards from the 2018 Ranch Fire and 2020 August Complex. It accommodates up to 24-foot trailers and offers activities such as hiking and big game hunting.
