What others are saying about this campground
Lake Jennings Park in Lakeside, CA is a beautiful and well-maintained RV campground. The location is great, and its close to San Diego and Hwy 8, but far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. One of the best things about this park is its friendly and attentive staff. Additionally, the park features lush green plants and hummingbirds adding to its beautiful ambiance. The park is nestled in a serene and natural environment, with wild animals like coyotes and an owl to listen to at night. The campground also provides bathroom and shower facilities. However, not all sites have full hookups, and some sites are not leveled, so bringing blocks can be useful. Many trails for hiking and biking are available in the park, and a play area that has a ladder golf, tetherball, and ping pong is there. If you have extra guests, there are tipis available for reservation that have a max of six people. The roads inside the park are a bit narrow, and there are only a few sites that can accommodate large rigs. The WIFI connectivity is weak or unavailable in some parts of the park. Cell reception is okay, though. Lake Jennings is an ideal spot for fishing, and there is a dump station in the park as well.
