Good Verizon cell and aircard service. This campground is located just off I-8 and is tucked away in a wooded, terraced, and treed area along a small stream. It has a historic ranch setting and is a great place to escape the Arizona heat. Premium sites are semi-private with partial-fences between units for added privacy. However, there is a large boulder on the drainage grate near the office, so be careful when pulling up. The fitness room is nothing more than a large closet with a single barely functional multi exercise unit, two dumbbells, and several treadmills. The laundry facilities are a mix with both top and front washers and plenty of dryers, but they all get locked at 9pm. There is also a pool, but it is also locked at 9pm. Unfortunately, small red ants have infested the rigs, so contact the office to spray if you have a problem. Additionally, maneuvering around the small concrete pads can be difficult and dangerous for two wheelers, so it is best to avoid this park for any stay over a few days. The manageress was very grumpy and not too impressed when we arrived late despite calling ahead three hours earlier. Good Verizon cell and aircard service is available.

The park is family and pet-friendly and is only a short drive to shopping and 20 minutes to most San Diego attractions. Handicap sites are available and the park offers free digital cable.
