The park also offers summer interpretive activities for kids, including hikes, campfire programs, and junior-ranger programs. Van Damme Beach is popular with kayakers, and in the summer, kayak tours exploring the tide pools and sea caves nearby are offered through a concessionaire at the Van Damme Beach parking lot.
