La Honda Park is a family-friendly campground nestled in the redwoods of Northern California. Its a great spot for camping or just getting out for the day with family and friends. The park is secluded and offers plenty of shade, as well as a creek that is a quarter mile hike down a trail. The campground is only a 10 minute drive to Pescadero State Beach, and is close to the town of Woodside and Half Moon Bay. The sites are spacious and well kept, and the bathrooms and showers are easily accessible, although the quality of the showers could be improved. There are also flushing toilets, coin-operated showers, water spigots, and a camp store on site. The campground is closed until Spring 2021, as they are updating the bathrooms and showers and roads. Dogs and smoking are not allowed, and the campground is monitored by rangers.
