Boulder Creek RV Resort is a privately-owned campground located at the base of Mt Whitney in Lone Pine, CA. The area is surrounded by beautiful mountains, providing guests with stunning views. There are quite a few pull-throughs for overnight stops, and the sites are easy to reach via paved roads. The park is quite spacious, and there are small picnic tables, fire rings, shade trees, WiFi, and cable. Complimentary muffins and coffee are offered in the clubhouse in the morning. The laundry room is clean, heated, and has three large-capacity washers and four dryers. The rates are reasonable, and quarters can be obtained in the office. The park is very convenient for sightseeing, and nearby activities include boating, fishing, hiking, and visiting historic areas. The customer service at this park has been generally strong in the past, but some recent reviews note that the staff attitudes seem to be somewhat different from what they expected. The WiFi is reportedly slow and inconsistent, and some reviewers reported problems with the cable. However, OTA TV signals are not available at the park. Despite some recent negative reviews from a few guests, many returning guests still recommend this park.
