GenieSummary

What others are saying about this campground
Summary: Tuttle Creek Campground is a great rustic campground for RV campers, with over 80 first-come, first-served gravel sites nestled in the stunning shadow of the eastern Sierras. The campground offers no hookups, but the sites are level and equipped with fire rings, lantern hooks, and concrete picnic tables. The vault toilets are numerous and well-maintained. The campground is a ten-minute drive to the beautiful Alabama Hills, where visitors can explore and take short hikes. The views from the campground are amazing, with breathtaking views of Mount Whitney and the surrounding valley. The unpaved road leading to the campground is well-maintained but has gnarly speed bumps. Visitors should expect to hear a steady stream of fighter stealth jets from Edwards Air Force Base flying overhead from about 8 am to 8 pm. The mosquitoes come out in droves at dusk, but visitors can mitigate the problem by using repellent.
