From The Campground

The Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest is the largest National Forest in the lower 48 states, covering 6.3 million acres across Nevada and eastern California. The Forest offers a diverse range of recreational opportunities, from snow-capped peaks to sage steppes. The Forest has numerous non-contiguous sections, with offices located in Austin, Carson City, Elko, Ely, Las Vegas, Sparks, Tonopah, Wells, and Winnemucca in Nevada and Bridgeport in California.
