Old Shady Rest Campground is located in a grove of Jeffrey Pine Trees within walking distance of the town of Mammoth Lakes. The campground has 47 campsites and offers potable water, flush toilets, and a dump station. The campground is operated by Inyo Recreation and reservations can be made through www.recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777. The fee is $28 per night per site. The campground is in an active bear area and bear boxes are provided and must be used. The closest town is Mammoth Lakes, CA. The campground offers camping and RV camping. The campground has no RV hookups. Firewood is not provided, but can be purchased locally. Reviews are not available.
