From The Campground

Kit Carson Campground is located on the West fork of the Carson River amidst Jeffrey Pines and aspens. The campground is generally open mid May through mid September and offers 12 sites, 3 tent only sites, and 9 RV sites. Reservations are required for most sites by calling toll free 877-444-6777 or online at www.recreation.gov. Sites 1, 3, 7, and 12 require no reservations and are first come first served. Amenities include picnic tables, vault toilets, and potable water. The campground is operated by a concessionaire.
