From The Campground
Cattle Camp Campground is a developed campground located on the Upper McCloud River in Shasta-Trinity National Forest. The campground has 27 sites suitable for tents and larger RV's or trailers, with tables and fire rings, vault toilets, and piped drinking water. Double sites are available for large families or small groups. The Upper McCloud River is one of the primary attractions in the area, offering swimming, fishing, and 15 miles of river-side trail to explore. Cattle Camp Swimming Hole is a Day Use Area, no Camping. The campground is typically open between May and October, and there is a 14-day limit. The fee is $15 per day, and there are no reservations.
