This RV campground is located close to Lassen Volcanic National Park. It has heavily wooded sites, but is undergoing construction to add more open sites. The individual sites are close together and backing in with trees nearby can be challenging. There is no cell service, but the WiFi works at the office and the water pressure is good. It has been impacted by mudslides, but the staff are friendly and helpful. The site has a lot of room and level spots, some with clear view of the sky, and is surrounded by huge pines. There is also a restaurant and bar across the street. Overall, it is a simple and rustic campground with all the basics in a very beautiful setting.

Located on 18 private acres in the Lassen National Forest, The Village at Highlands Ranch offers comfortable accommodations in the 19-room inn, 24-space RV park with 7 pull-thru and 17 back-in sites, and 7 tent camping sites with picnic tables and fire pits, along with equestrian camping for those traveling with their four-legged friends. At 5,000 feet, our property in Childs Meadow offers breathtaking views of Lassen Volcanic National Park.
