What others are saying about this campground
Laguna Seca Raceway Campground is a great spot for a pit stop or to explore the nearby Monterey, Carmel, and Pacific Grove areas. It is situated on a hill with a steep 16% grade coming in, so it is not suitable for biking. The roads are narrow and require maneuvering for big rigs. The campsites are surrounded by overgrown trees and weeds with great views of the rolling hills and the race track. There is a guard at the gate during the day and security on-site at night. There are 30 amp sites but the water is non-potable due to the level of arsenic. The facilities are a little dated but clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The campground is surprisingly quiet during the day and peaceful at night, except when the shooting range is open and the cars are running on the track. There are porta potties and the camp host is full of interesting facts of the area. Dry camping ranges from $40-50 and full hookup from $50-60.
