What others are saying about this campground
Morro Strand State Beach in Morro Bay, CA is a cool campground near the town thats perfect biking distance. Although theres not a lot of privacy and the sites are very close together, theres a nice variety to choose from. The campground is a flat area with campsites, and theres mixed recycling, trash, and food compost disposal available. The showers are good, the water has good pressure, and the token machines only take bills. The natural history museum and Bayside Cafe across the street are cool places to check out. The boardwalk is also a highlight, a great half-mile loop for birding and strolling. The golf course is impressive too. The campground could use a facelift, though, as there are some potholes in the road and faded signs. There are a lot of squirrels around, so be aware!
