What others are saying about this campground
Humboldt Redwoods State Parks Burlington Campground in Myers Flat, California is a beautiful and serene campground situated along Avenue of the Giants. The campground offers a secluded and private experience, and it is easily accessible with all basic needs supplied. The campground offers decent showers and toilets, and visitors feel safe and secure. The nearby trails through the redwoods are stunning, and the area is breathtakingly beautiful. The spacious sites provide enough parking, but there is an additional fee for extra vehicles. The campground is typical with full bathroom structures and coin-operated showers, and it does not have a dump station nor hookup sites. The road through the camp and redwood grove is narrow and winding, limiting RV and trailer length to 24ft. Noise from the nearby road could be a drawback, but otherwise, the other campers were relaxed and respectful. The basic amenities and breathtaking location make it one of the favorite campgrounds.

From The Campground

Humboldt Redwoods State Park spans 53,000 acres, an area almost twice the size of San Francisco. About one third, or 17,000 acres, of the park is old-growth redwood forest—the largest expanse of ancient redwoods left on the planet. Visitors can enjoy a variety of overnight facilities including environmental campsites, family campsites, group campsites, and hike or bike campsites. The park also offers bike trails, hiking trails, horseback riding, historical/cultural sites, picnic areas, environmental learning/visitor center, exhibits and programs, fishing, guided tours, interpretive exhibits, swimming, and museums. Restrooms and outdoor showers are available for visitors. Dogs are allowed in the park except for on trails, with the exception of service animals.
