The Dyrt campground is an interesting and secluded spot tucked between the Grand Canyon and San Diego. It is a great place for RVers, with 90+% of the sites outfitted with giant screen-porch exoskeletons. The staff is friendly and helpful and the park is clean and well-maintained. The sites are large, easily accessible and fairly level, and the bathrooms and laundry facilities are clean. The campground is located right on the lake and is within walking distance to the casino, restaurant, and marina. The views are awesome, and there is always something going on like poker runs, bass tournaments, and festivals. However, it can get quite noisy with drunken rednecks and their kids blasting music all hours of the night and riding motorized toys in the wash. The water is too hard to drink, and hookups are inconveniently located at the back of the site. There is also an extra fee of $20 a day for a tow vehicle.
