This campground is a great spot to stay for a night or a week. It is located in a convenient spot, central to Lake Havasu, Vegas, Palm Springs, Yuma, and Phoenix, and features a gated entryway with a beautiful view of distant mountains. The sites are very large and feature red rock gravel, and there are plenty of activities to keep you busy, including horseshoes, volleyball courts, two pools, hot tubs, a store, and a community building. The bathrooms and showers are nice and clean, and there are little houses and mobile homes available for purchase. The campground is also UTV and ATV friendly, with an open area to ride across the street. There are also family and pet friendly activities, such as a dog walk area, a game room, and a gym. The resort also hosts fun events, like Taco Tuesdays, Pancake Breakfasts, and a Christmas and New Years Party. However, there is no wifi, and the water main was broken when visitors arrived and had been out for three days. There are also mosquitos, no grass, and the 5th wheel next to visitors may be loud at night.

Palms River Resort is not your everyday resort. It offers RV and bungalow reservations, boat/RV storage, and homes for sale. The resort has a private beach, boat dock, and hundreds of miles of off-road trails for UTVs and ATVs. The Red Barn Event Center and Bean Coffee Shop are also available on-site. The resort is centrally located and offers every amenity possible.
