From The Campground

Summit Lake Campground is located in Lassen Volcanic National Park and offers two sections, North and South, both with access to Summit Lake. The North section is better for swimming while the South section is more grassy. The South section cannot accommodate RVs or trailers except for small tent trailers. The campground also has a stock corral for horses. The newly planted vegetation in both sections is being restored, so visitors are asked to keep equipment on woodchips and use designated paths.
