This campground is located close to the Yosemite South gate and offers a convenient location for short term campers. The entrance to the park is not well-signed, but the alternate instructions provided by the campground staff can help you avoid steep hills and speed bumps. The campground has one pull-through for larger rigs and full hookups, but the cable connection is located on the other side of the coach and the free WIFI is limited to ½ hr per day. The Laundry room needs a good cleaning and the electrical wiring is scary. The view situation for motorhomes is not ideal due to the warehouse facility across the river, and the sites are small with no privacy. The first thing you see when you approach the park entrance is a lot full of weeds and decrepit RVs. Unfortunately, there is a lot of noise late at night from a group of young men partying and using every 4-letter word in the book. The stream and waterfall area are nice, and the town of Oakhurst is very quaint and offers many services.

High Sierra RV & Mobile Park is a serene campground nestled into the soaring oak and pine trees of beautiful Oakhurst, CA, just minutes from Yosemite National Park. The campground offers full hook-ups (electric/water/sewer), available Wi-Fi & cable TV service, and is close to town, with every convenience and service nearby. The campground also offers cedar cabins for rent. The mountain setting comes complete with its own swimming hole and two waterfalls. Guests can enjoy fishing, a refreshing dip in the pristine water, or the soothing sounds of the falls. High Sierra RV & Mobile Park is within easy walking or driving distance to shopping, dining, and local services & activities.
