Camp Pendleton Del Mar Beach is an amazing place to camp with breathtaking views and plenty of amenities. It is located on a Marine Corp base, so federal laws and regulations are strictly enforced. There are rental cottages and tent sites available, as well as RV/trailer sites with hook-ups. Prices are seasonal, and you may reserve a spot or cottage for up to two weeks. The beach is really wide and clean, and there are chairs with shade, a playground for the kids, and fire pits at each house. The water is a very gentle slope down, with small waves that are great for kids to play and wade in. WiFi is not the best, and alcohol is allowed on the beach but no glass. You must have a military ID to camp here, and active duty has priority over retired and civilians in regards to reservations. This is a great spot for military families, and a fantastic place to camp on the beach for a quick trip.
