Big Pine Campground is a beautiful campground located in Lassen National Forest. The campground offers 19 tent camping sites nestled under tall pines along scenic Hat Creek. Each site has fire rings and barbeques. Amenities include picnic tables, vault toilets, and hand pumped potable water. The campground is open from May to October and is first come, first served. The fee for camping is $12 per night for up to 2 vehicles per site, with each additional vehicle costing $5 per night. The campground has a 14-day limit and campfires are only allowed in designated fire rings. The closest towns are Old Station, located 1 mile away, and Burney, located 27 miles away. The crystal clear waters of Hat Creek are located just beyond the campsites, offering great fishing opportunities. California state fishing license is required.
