What others are saying about this campground
Lake Oroville State Recreation Area is a great campground for those looking for a peaceful getaway. With helpful staff at check-in, a variety of local hiking trails, and plenty of water recreation activities, this campground is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. There is no electricity or running water, but there are flush toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings. There are full hookups available for $45/night, and the campsites are small and on the lake. The lake is great for fishing, and nearby attractions such as Table Mountain and Feather Falls are in full bloom in April. There is no internet service provided, but there is cell service and wifi. The showers are token operated, and the sheriff cruises through a few times a day to check on things. The campground is very clean and quiet at night, and the Feather River Salmon Hatchery is close by.
