From The Campground

McGrath State Beach is a beautiful campground located along the Santa Clara River and the Pacific Ocean. The park offers campsites by the beach, with two miles of beach providing surfing and fishing opportunities. Visitors can also enjoy bird-watching, nature and wildlife viewing, windsurfing, and swimming (with caution due to strong currents and riptides). The campground is currently closed due to flooding, but will reopen once cleanup and repairs have been completed.
