What others are saying about this campground
This campground is located in a mostly full-time residential area, so it is not the most ideal place to stay. The facilities are in a severe state of disrepair, with the laundry room and bathrooms often closed due to vandalism. The pool is more like a swamp and the mini golf course is all torn up and overgrown. The price is low and includes electricity, but the living conditions are inhumane. There are a few nicer spots on the west side of the park, but the trees are overgrown and the pool looks good from a distance until you get close and can see the algae staining the sides. There is a huge rec hall, nice swimming pool, and covered patio with lots of seating. Mail boxes are available for long-term guests for a small fee. There is also a $350 deposit plus $45 per adult for background checks, and when leaving, the deposit check is mailed to you 23 days later and money is taken out. Park night lights are broken and some are laying on the ground with bare wires sticking up. Despite these issues, the staff are nice and helpful.
