This campground is a great place to get away from it all. It is located close to San Diego, but is tucked away in the mountains, offering a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. It features large, mostly single sites, with a few double sites, as well as secluded sites. There is potable water, vaulted toilets, and a seasonal creek. The camphost is helpful and knowledgeable, and the campground is well maintained. It is also a short drive from the Alpine Beer Co. There is plenty of flat ground for tents and Jeeps, and the night sky viewing is spectacular. There is no cell service and the park has water and long drop restrooms. This is a great spot for a large group to get away and enjoy nature.

Cibbets Flat Campground is a Forest Service campground located in Cleveland National Forest. It offers 25 sites for camping and picnicking, with potable water and a vault toilet available. The campground is first-come, first-serve and does not accept reservations. The fees are $14 per night for a single unit and $28 per night for a double unit. The maximum vehicle length allowed is 27 feet. The campground is located near Pine Valley, CA and offers hiking opportunities. Firewood is not provided, and visitors are advised not to bring their own due to the risk of transporting pests.
