Ramona Oaks RV Resort is a well-kept and clean campground nestled in the mountains of Ramona, California. With full hook-ups, a clubhouse with an outside gas fire pit, fishing pond, horseshoes, mini-golf, pool and spa, playground, and more, this park offers a great bang for your buck. Interior roads are narrow and have speed bumps, making it difficult to park the trailer into the campsite. The electricity is dangerous for your RV at peak times, but the staff are friendly and attentive. The mini golf is fun, the fish are biting in the lake, and the clubhouse has a nice pool table, gathering area and community fire pit. The roads are narrow and not made for larger motor homes, but they do fit with some helpful guiding. There is no cell phone service or WiFi at most sites, but the park does offer fee Wi-Fi at the clubhouse for $2 per day. The park is close to Julian and many wineries, and is a great place to explore the cities of San Diego, Oceanside and Escondido. With a rustic, wooded setting, this park is a great place to stay for families and couples alike.

Ramona Oaks RV Park is one of San Diego’s best RV Camping secrets! Nestled in the gently sloping foothills of San Diego County, RVers absolutely love vacationing at our park amongst the live oaks, pepper trees, eucalyptus, succulents and flowers. Many animals such as deer, rabbits, turkeys, ducks, wood pecks, and humming birds also make this their home. Surrounded by vineyards and ranches we are six miles from the cowboy town of Ramona, 12 miles from the San Diego Safari Park and only a 20 minute drive from the historic town of Julian. Neighboring towns including Poway, Escondido and Lakeside and allow easy access to I-78, I-15, I-8 and Hwy 52. Close to city life, the coast and major attractions but far enough away to enjoy the tranquil beauty of all the area has to offer!
